While looking for worms in our dormant raised beds Jonas discovered a warren of rabbits. They are tiny! So small it's hard to tell what they are. Their ears are flat down on their head and eyes completely closed; maybe 3 inches in length total. Of course I'm now totally obsessed. Unfortunately the only way to see them is to disturb their nest in the straw and dirt so I can't check on them daily, I mean hourly, like I'd want to.

Trying To Get a Photo of Five
I'm laughing because all was calm until we tried to get a photograph. Then Phin literally started acting like he was on fire.
The Four Questions
The seder was lovely. It's time for a new generation to read the four questions and Jonas practiced over a week for his role as the oldest great grandchild. The day of he grew nervous he might forget a word and wrote them out. When it was his turn to ask Poppy the questions he didn't miss a beat. Caleb took advantage of the good WiFi connection and endless supply of matzos. Phin really contemplated his egg and then opted instead for more kosher for passover applecake.

What Are You Working On?
Since everyone comments on them in our house I thought it was worth a photo. At any given time Jonas and Caleb have at least one chart going on, sometimes two and even three. Caleb is insisting he wants company in the bathroom or an escort to take him there and back. So he has a chart for going to the bathroom by himself and flushing. Jonas had to take antibiotics, 2 pills 3 times per day; in this case the chart also helped us keep track. He was a superstar though and earned a special BeyBlade that is coming from South Korea and will hopefully arrive before he leaves for college. Jonas also has a sleep chart going to encourage him to stay in bed till 7:00 am. Yes, 6:55 am counts.
Someone Doesn't Realize It's Snowing
Yes, it's March. And not like the first week of March. We've had Caleb's birthday, my birthday and now there is snow on the ground. The only one who doesn't seem to care is Phin who was super thrilled to escape all his clothing and diaper.

Officially Four
Oh sweet Caleb. Even when your hugs are too hard or you're surreptitiously licking the wrong thing (oh why, the trash can?) there is something good hearted about your mischief. No one works harder at remembering the jokes in Phineas and Ferb or all of the lyrics to Call Me Maybe. There isn't an adventure you're not ready for or a puddle you're not interested in jumping in. This snowy sloggy winter was right up your alley. I'm not sure how in the last year you went from having a decent interest in trying new foods to sticking only to carbohydrates. It's the same lunch every day, mango soy yogurt smoothie and grilled cheese, sometimes crusts, sometimes not. I love watching you glide down the street on your scooter stopping with a bit of extra style when I tell you "red light." And how you show no fear trying to keep up with the big kids and their games.
